On your mark...

I'm gearing up for a bunch of workshops. Going to teach the teachers how to use GenScope in their classrooms. This should be fun, just like last summer. We had 24 Boston teachers then; met at Boston High School during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Figures! But the workshop went great and many of the teachers used GenScope during the year. That's what I consider a success.

So far we've scheduled 3 workshops, one for the PALMS project (Partnerships for Advancing Learning in Mathematics and Science) with the Massachusetts state Department of Education, one with the EDCO Collaborative (a group of suburban schools) and one for Boston teachers at the Teacher Training Center at WGBH (the Boston area public television station) in Allston. SUNY Purchase has approached us to do a workshop down there in New York. Hmmm! Our reputation is spreading.
