The Population Level enables students to follow traits as an entire population evolves
over many generations and in varied environmental conditions.
Students can define environmental factors such as water, land, mountains, malaria, etc. Then they can define rules using these factors and the species traits to affect the creatures. For example, by defining the environmental facter water we can create a rule that states that 0-legged dragons can only live in water and 4-legged dragons can only live on land, but 2-legged dragons can live anywhere. Students can now observe how the population changes. |
