[About GenScope]

The Chromosome Level displays the chromosomes for an individual creature. Students can view the location of genes and change the alleles. As the alleles are changed the resulting effects can be viewed at the other levels. At this level it is easy to show recessive, dominant, polygenic, and x-linked traits.

This level can be locked to keep students from seeing it. The students are then forced to deduce the locations and behaviors of the genes.
